This langar used to run for 24 hours. One can take any prasad in it. Sri Harimandir Sahib has many shrines. The tree is also considered a place of pilgrimage among them. The shrine is known as Bull Baba Buddha. It is said that when the Golden Temple was being built, Baba Buddha was sitting under this tree watching the construction of the Golden Temple.

Langar is a prominent place in Haridwar. The reason is that every devotee who comes to the Gurdwara is provided food and drink in this langar. The provision of food and drink is made from the things offered by the devotees who come to the Gurdwara. The arrangements for food and drink in the langar are made by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and their appointed servants.

Every day thousands of people take prasad in this langar. Not only food but also the shelter of the people who come to the Gurdwara is provided here. This inn was built in 1784. It has 228 rooms and eighteen large halls. Here a sheet and a mattress are used for shelter at night. A person can stay properly in this langar for up to three days.
